This wall in Panaji is obviously exposed to quite a bit of rain water, and water streaming down the wall. It's caused quite a lot of mold growing on the wall, but the seam between the two parts also provides a nice toehold for a number of little ferns. Peeling paint on the left reveals that that part originally had the same pale pink color as the part on the right.
