The house on the left waa once ochre nearthe bottom, with a warm orange-brown above. Then it was painted over in a nice yellow ochre (though the orange ran a bit) - the same ochre color the house on the left was painted in. So the neighbor on the left repainted his house in a light green color.It didn't last: a passing truck carved some deep scratches across the wall, revealing some of the underlying color; more wear and tear resulted a curiously-shaped bit of mold on the left, and more peeling paint on the right.It's time for a new layer of paint (in two colors).
